That's also why having my own business allows me to master my time. Not making the jump into being on your own prevents doing the true learning.
As of the writing part, it is indeed true: JDFI!

I love this post. Never brought a baby up but I love the concept of "Baby time".

Maybe it explains why so few people seem to like continual learning as a part of their adult life - they just will not budget the time.

And is this related to so called information overload?

Of course. You can't learn to swim very well if you keep dipping your toe into the water.

I love the way you frame this process, because I'm one of those that cannot start something new without going overboard and devoting all of my time to it. I suppose it's a good thing though, because that's how I developed my blogging and internet marketing skills.

thanks, Sean.

I liked the "soldier on" expression. My Last Name (Catana) in my native language(Romanian) actually means soldier. :)

btw so glad to be a subscriber. you're among the few that don't send emails full of BS, always a pleasure reading you're articles.

keep up the good work.

Lots of time management tips actually, but the best one of them all is to spend two-three hours a day learning what you want to learn. Most people never learn what they need to learn. They never get blinding fast. And that's the biggest time sucker of all.

I write every single day. When I'm happy, sad, tired, blah, blah. Professionals don't have moods. Amazingly non-moody people get the most done.

If you ever look around you and see people who don't get work done, it's those who rely on their moods to get things done. Moods want to win every time. Your job is to deny them that win. And soldier on.

This article hit the spot. In the past weeks I am struggling to fit more stuff I want to do in less hours. I have college, several projects I am a member in that take a lot of my time, and I want to learn Php&MySql&Java.

Given the present article, I guess I have triplets :))

The bad part is that I don't know how but I just end up not doing anything right. :(

I guess i kinda suck at time management. Do you have any tips?
