It is a social thing isn't it? You don't meet your friends for coffee every fifteen minutes. Social media gets my attention when I've had enough of work for the day. The better you get at your work, the less you get distracted by social media. The more crappy you are at your work, the more time you spend at social media. And on the forums at http://www.5000bc.com, I have to be very focused. Some days there are well over 100 posts a day, that get posted. As 'head janitor', I have to make sure that I look and answer a good chunk of those 100 posts.
