"Before I purchased the Brain Audit, I thought this is just crazy, I've got so much marketing material that I still haven't implemented".

But right from Sean's first story and metaphor, I could see this was different. I was hooked.

The Brain Audit challenged virtually every principle of marketing I'd grown up with. Like selling benefit or never starting with a negative or problem.

And it's this refreshing, innovative approach that makes the Brain Audit a must buy for anyone who is really serious about challenging the status quo and taking their business to new heights.

Already we've applied the principles to one of our workshops and the response has been fantastic.

The Brain Audit and our ongoing association with Sean has been one of the best business decisions we've every made."

"My attendance would sometimes double just by arranging my class flyers using the Brain Audit principles."

"Before the Brain Audit, I used to put on workshops where I would have as many as 45 people show up. Sometimes 10 people. Sometimes I had no one show up. I had no idea how to attract people to the training classes that I offered.

Upon the recommendation of a friend, I joined the on-line forum on 5000bc. I learned about the Brain Audit and I decided to buy it, since I could return it if I wasn't satisfied. I struggled with concepts in there like understanding how my customers think.

I was so ingrained with presenting solutions and not scaring off people with negativity or problems. It was a 180 degree switch to use these principles.

As I began to think like my customers, I would employ the concepts in the marketing for my classes. My attendance would sometimes double just by arranging my class flyers using the Brain Audit principles.

I feel much more confident and clear in communicating my value through the Brain Audit."

"I wasn't really sure that I needed it - I felt like I was already successful, and like I really understood how my customers thought"

"I'd subscribed to Sean's newsletter for a couple of years before I finally decided that it was time to buy the Brain Audit. I wasn't really sure that I needed it - I felt like I was already successful, and like I really understood how my customers thought.

And, after reading it just once, I was pretty sure that I already knew everything that it talked about. It was a good book, solidly written, but there was nothing surprising in it.

But, on a recommendation of another Cave member, I re-read the Brain Audit with a bit more of an open mind. And, I was pretty amazed what I found the second time around. While the concepts in the Brain Audit were familiar - things that I'd heard mentioned before - but, the details and the overall approach were different.

Once I really dug into it and looked at the process, I discovered that the ideas in the Brain Audit could really change the way I was marketing my business - and make my sales process a lot easier.

I've been working on applying the Brain Audit throughout my website and my emails to my clients and potential clients. And, my results have really been phenomenal. I've gone from spending 20% of my time talking to prospects and only closing about 1/10 of those clients to spending almost no time talking to prospects until they're ready to buy.

It did take a bit of time to write things and set everything up on my site, but that time has paid off with a lot more time for me to work on my business instead of in my business, and in an easier sales cycle.

I even have more clients coming in than ever before - so many that I'm considering raising my rates for the second time this year (and it's only February!)

I'd recommend the Brain Audit to any small business owner who needs to make their sales process easier - it's an easy-to-follow system that makes getting into your customer's brain simple."

"I received more response from my direct mail and email advertising than I have in the past."

"Before I bought the Brain Audit, I was wondering how this guy so off the beaten track in New Zealand could possibly know how I could be successful marketing myself in the US.

Sean's approach *feels* right on to me. I've decided that it must work if he can sit in NZ and reach into my brain, so successfully, in the US!

For me, the biggest benefit of Sean's work (and I'm not sure this is even a message of the Brain Audit per se), in addition to understanding how to write copy, was to understand that you can't expect people to buy from you right away.

In the past, I've thought that I was offering something no one wanted if they didn't buy right away. Now I realize the relationship building is necessary.

Of course, this is how I buy, too, but I hadn't realized that.

I have applied the Brain Audit to direct mail pieces, and email advertising, and am in the process of overhauling my website.

I received more response from my direct mail and email advertising than I have in the past.

I would recommend the Brain Audit, because it lays out a successful approach that I was immediately able to apply, unlike all the other "systems" I've invested in the past."

"I was skeptical that Sean's Brain Audit book would have anything new to say. I could not have been more wrong!"

"As a writer who spent the past fifteen years researching thinking, I was skeptical that Sean's Brain Audit book would have anything new to say. I could not have been more wrong!

So, now I'm drafting my letter to Sean, thanking him for making me a (future) millionaire. I am confident that with the marketing secrets found in The Brain Audit, my books and courses will sell and sell and sell.

The crystal-clear, can't-miss system that Sean outlines in The Brain Audit is the absolute best I have seen in all of my research and reading.

Thanks, Sean! The ROI on Brain Audit is the best of any investment I've made."

"Knowing the Brain Audit stuff and reading what other people (that haven't read it) write, I can see the gaps in their strategy straight away."

My perception of the Brain Audit before I bought it was that it would be a check list or procedure that would make me think differently about the way I approached marketing and selling, especially in writing.

The Brain Audit is more than a procedure although it does have easy steps that take you through the process of meeting customers' needs and answering their objections before they've even asked them.

It reconfirmed the significance of 'away from' motivation in customers decision making processes. I knew about this before through NLP training I had done but had not applied it in this way.

The results so far have involved a back to basics rethink of what I am doing and how I am doing it. I am a trainer and therapist and I have revisited every workshop, project and piece of material I have ever produced and applied the Brain Audit principles.

So far I have had a better response to my leaflets that are on display in various locations. I am in the process of redoing my website. So can't comment on the results yet.

I would recommend the Brain Audit as a really solid starting point for anyone that wants to write anything that involves influencing others.

Knowing the Brain Audit stuff and reading what other people (that haven't read it) write I can see the gaps in their strategy straight away.

Some people's leaflets and websites look impressive. Before I read the Brain Audit I might have admired their approach as being polished.

However polished doesn't always mean influential. I would now favour simple and incorporating the Brain Audit ideas rather than impressive and expensive.

"In Jan 2006 we took £3500 in sales (before the Brain Audit). In Jan 2007 we took £15,000."

"When we set out on our own, we knew we had a great product, and we knew our target audience. But our business was eating money. We were drowning; we could not take a wage.

So I (Debbie) had to do a second job to make ends meet.

Our sales were coming in dribs and drabs and the previous year ended in a large loss. We knew nothing about marketing, and just placed ads in magazines and thought customers would come flooding in.

How wrong can you be? So we went to a marketing agent, but they wanted £5K upfront, and that was just for the first three months.

We could have gone bankrupt, with no understanding of why, so that was a non-starter. At the same time, Andy had subscribed to Jack Forde's newsletter, and through this found Sean and Psychotactics.

The funny thing is, I tried to use the information in one of your articles on eBay, on things I was selling regularly, and failed miserably. I sold nothing. I had got the concepts wrong (but did not know that).

I had spent hours changing all my pages. I was not impressed, I can tell you! So I then spent hours changing them back again.

I now know I did not have the full story and was actually patronising my customers. Anyway, Andy kept reading your regular freebies and downloaded a tele-class.

When we listened we knew straight away that you and Psychotactics were the missing link. We then bought the Brain Audit. It all made perfect sense, but we found it hard to do.

It does not just get you to understand your customers; it also gets you to take a real good look at yourself (not a comfortable thing to do).

We started with our website and methodically worked our way through every bag on the conveyor belt, not moving onto the next until the one before was done.

It's not the most comfortable thing to have to do, but boy, it was worth it. So, we completely rewrote our website and our magazine adverts.

The Brain Audit changed the way we do business, focusing only on our customers and getting to their real needs. In doing this, our business has grown and is still growing at an amazing rate.

We have also halved our advertising costs. Magazines now print our articles and we have customers writing to editors of magazines about us and our products- it's just amazing, the turnaround. We have to pinch ourselves to know that what is happening is real.

To give you an example, in Jan 2006 we took £3500 in sales (before the Brain Audit). In Jan 2007 we took £15,000 in sales.

We now both take a salary, and I have given up my other job.So life is looking real good for us. We ignite classic bikes, and the Brain Audit and Sean have ignited us."

"I always wondered how I lost the customer, now I know."

"I had wanted to purchase the Brain Audit for a long time like 2 years before but the time never seemed right –was still employed and then I was unemployed.

I was sure the Brain Audit was worth all because, I had been receiving the newsletter, and those alone were dynamite. The psychotactics newsletter builds trust in Sean's abilities that I knew the Brain Audit would be better than his word.

Buying the Brain Audit reinforced my belief that the Brain Audit could deliver.

I have been in marketing for up to 10 years, and have read just about anything there is on marketing, but no one had ever put together psychology and marketing to give one a definitive program to guarantee success be it in selling a product or service, in proposal writing or simply putting together a flyer.

My biggest benefit of the Brain Audit, was the sequential order of the system – before the Brain Audit, I had been using one or all of the steps involved – but the biggest secret is the order.

I always wondered how I lost the customer, now I know – the key is the order, second step after the first and so on, not straight into USP or service.

I have applied the Brain Audit everywhere – copy for business card (job description is always a problem/solution focused), writing quotation proposals, flyers, copy writing customer's websites and business portfolios and not to mention when just talking to family or friends in an advisory status.

I have not won any major contracts and that's not because of the Brain Audit doesn't work, its just because I have not officially put my marketing plan to work yet, still in preparation stages.

However, when I state my problem/solution, it makes people pause and think twice before they enquire how I do what I do although sometimes they don't even need my services. When my business is up and running, I know I will not only hook my clients to ask what I do but I will sure to convert them to buy my services – all with the Brain Audit thinking application.

I would recommend the Brain Audit to anyone who will listen to me, anyone who is willing to do what it takes to succeed and in this case is a little application of the Brain Audit, off course assuming it is a viable business. The Brain Audit would guarantee an easy sale every time."

"Now ..I use Sean's techniques to make other people happy."

"The Brain is a wonderful place...but it is not logical. It lays waiting until someone provides it with the right cues.

When I first came across the Brain Audit, I didn't know exactly what to expect, but it seemed novel, and my brain sensed something was right.

As I read along, my brain got happier and happier. Now ..I use Sean's techniques to make other people happy. However, I am not a doctor; I'm a businessman."

"We went from 3 years of floundering online to our first $5,000 month this past month."

"I wondered if it was like so many things I've seen on the internet when it comes to marketing - all fluff and no substance, or on the other end of the spectrum so overwhelming it would be of no use to me as a newbie in the world of marketing my business, not just online but offline as well.

I really needed some help but didn't want to pay for another package that wouldn't really make a difference for me.

I have put the techniques to the test and they work! It doesn't get much better than that. Our web site has changed and changed and still changes and grows and the foundation for it is using the Brain Audit approach.

To slow down the frenzy that happens when I have to think about marketing, I wonder if I'm doing it right. When I think that, I just go back to page one and start reading all over again.

Every time I get something new. As our business grows the concepts become more clear and new ways to use them come into view.

I have used the Brain Audit, throughout our site and in the new materials we've printed for speaking. We take the bags off one by one, even if we only have 4 or 5 lines to get it all said and it works.

We've stepped across so many markers mile this past
year using these ideas. A common phrase around our little office is, "Sean says..."

This is the first time we've ever earned significant income from an online business. We went from 3 years of floundering online to our first $5,000 month this past month. All of that really happened in about 4 months time once we had certain things in place with the site. That figure seemed unreachable only a few months ago.

I would recommend the Brain Audit because it is more than just about the book. The book is great but what happens is the ideas that sit at the foundation of the book grow for you over time. They percolate and take hold.

There's integrity in the concepts and they're fresh. Both my partner and I have struggled with 'selling' in the past. The Brain Audit helped us put that struggle into perspective and everyone has benefited from it - our business and our clients."

"I was very pleased to find very condensed information which was easy to implement."

"Scanning the Psychotactics Website I was just wondering if this less than 100 pages e-book could be worth the money - compared to printed books that usually costs less than half as much.

But I've learned that the price corresponds to the expected value. So I expected a high value and gave it a try.

I was very pleased to find very condensed information which was easy to implement. And best: no contradiction to all the books and articles I read on neuro science and its contribution to understanding how psychology works.

No, I'm not a psychologist. I'm an engineer.

I used the Brain Audit on my website (which is unfortunately only for German speaking people). Yes I know, up to now the principles are still not implemented in the correct way. A new revision is on the way.

But more interesting is the use of especially the first three red bags in my consulting work, e.g. with start-up companies or during my work as a quality management representative and trainer. To see how the brains of people begins to work when they think about the questions, and to hear the quality of the answers is really amazing.

I recommend the Brain Audit to people to clarify the focus of their work, because it is an simple and sound step-by-step system easy to implement."

"It's my key marketing workbook. I applied it to my business cards, my websites, my brochures, all of my monthly newsletters and anything I created."

"I even just pulled out old Bessie and gave her a re-read..

I had seen so many websites all selling info products that it was hard to know what to think. I was skeptical, because I was just starting my business and I couldn't afford to waste $100 on something that didn't allow me to directly apply it.

I was tired of philosophy or just Motivation, I needed some hard solid fundamentals I could put to use immediately.

Now I have a place to refer to for the fundamentals. I'm never lost when it comes to creating any of my marketing materials. I feel that I have a competitive advantage.

Every move I make, uses the fundamentals taught in the Brain Audit and they work.

It's fun, simple and it offers so much good information.

I applied it to my business cards, my websites, my brochures, all of my Monthly newsletters, anything I created I referred to the training in the Audit and the triggers. It's my key marketing workbook.

My first ad I ran using the Brain Audit's principles had a 50% increase from other ads written previously. In fact I still use the same ad almost 3 years later born from what I learned from him.

One of the biggest keys is the section that teaches you how to create marketing material that gets people to respond with a 'What's that, or how do you that?" This alone is worth the book.

I am in Network Marketing, and our main job is to promote our
business and products. There is so little training in our industry on how to create effective marketing material.

That this fits a huge need in our industry for anyone wanting success."

"I would highly recommend the Brain Audit to anyone trying to sell anything. It does not matter whether one is a old marketing pro or a complete newbie to sales and marketing."

"There are a lot -- too much -- information products on the net for sale. It's hard to take them seriously. Especially when most of them use the term "guru" every two sentences.

But I thought I'd take a look at the Brain Audit because of the very intelligent way it was described in the sales letter. That, and it struck chords in me that had become dormant. Sparks of creativity began upon reading and being reminded of how much depth this subject has.

Having been in the business of advertising, marketing and media communications for nearly 30 years, I've seen and heard and used so many techniques for trying to get inside the brains of my clients' customers and prospects, that I was skeptical of "one more way."

But I was intrigued by the ideas expressed. They were dead-on correct and fresh and bright. So against my own skepticism, I was so taken with Brain Audit that I had to have it.

It was virtually everything I know about right brain psychology and buyers' motivations and barriers to decision-making. And then some. And it was all contained in very articulate and well thought-out descriptions and explanations.

I thought to myself: This guy really gets it! He understands what few others do. In short, he understands the mind's perceptions and assimilations.

The biggest benefit I got from this was to revitalize and re-focus the knowledge I had in my brain's attic. And to put it with new ways of evaluating and using it. It re-taught me things I knew but had lazily let slide.

And it was made exciting and interesting by D'Souza's writing. Very smart, perceptive and straight to the point. Great metaphors, examples and analogies to make his insights come to life. It was as if it were written from his right brain to mine, so immediately comprehensible was it. After all these years, I was excited again about this.

Of course I immediately applied this new vigor to my own website and several direct response pieces I was working on. It was like a breath of fresh air.

My brain had seemingly atrophied after all these years compared to what I was now inspired to try creatively. I'm embarrassed and ashamed to say I'd gotten too comfortable with much of my wisdom and insight of the psychological motivators and barriers that make prospects act on certain stimulus and customers to become closer and retentive. That leads to lazy thinking, formulaic thinking and worse: fatigue and burn-out.

The results have yet to be measured as an accurately accountable metric, but the results are visibly better; more visitors to the websites, more response to the direct marketing. These are just sheer numbers, not statistical measurements, yet. But results are noticeably improved. And so is my attitude and excitement about it.

I would highly recommend the Brain Audit to anyone trying to sell anything. It does not matter whether one is a old marketing pro or a complete newbie to sales and marketing.

The Brain Audit is simply about understanding how the brain perceives things and what it does with those perceptions. If you thing you already know it all, then read this and be humbled. In my career, whole advertising wars have been fought with these tools of knowledge of the mind. And the winner was always the one who best understood the minds of the customer. Always.

In today's marketplace, if a business doesn't understand why people buy its products, and more importantly, why people don't buy its products, it is gone in a flash. Another way of saying this might be to express it in marketplace terms. If you go into the marketplace without this kind of specific knowledge it doesn't matter how good your product or service might be, you will fail. And sadly, you may never know why you failed. But fail, you will.

In the marketplace of our time, we are all dealing with strangers. They don't know us. So we'd better figure out very quickly how to introduce ourselves and make a good impression on them. Those who don't will remain strangers. And people, down through all of time, have always done business with friends. Not strangers. This is what the Brain Audit makes unavoidably conclusive to us while in his uncanny way, Mr. D'Souza's reads our own minds."

"At first, the Brain Audit looked interesting but, I believe I felt uncertain and possibly somewhat skeptical."

"I've been very impressed with the Brain Audits content. It has prompted me to think in a completely new way when marketing our enterprise software and services.

The biggest benefit-The Brain Audit's approach to sales and marketing has sped up the sales cycle for me. It has given me more confidence when creating marketing materials and my sales efforts.

I have applied the Brain Audit to Sales letters...Fax mailers...Email...Face to face sales and Telemarketing.

I would confidently recommend the Brain Audit to any marketer. After 24 years in sales and marketing, it has given me a fresh perspective."

"I have used the principles in writing WebPages, writing articles, making presentations, networking, negotiating and even writing submissions for a judge! The Brain Audit actually works."

"There are marketing books and there are marketing books - I bet there are not many you have read many times over? That's because very few in my experience change the very basis of how you think. At the end of the day marketing or sales is the art of persuasion. No matter what you do, we all use the art of persuasion everyday of our lives.

Whether we are persuading someone to buy our product, use our service, buy into a new idea, or in my case, decide a law suit in my client's favour.

The Brain Audit really teaches you the art of persuasion because it gives an insight into how people's brains work. I have used the principles in writing WebPages, writing articles, making presentations, networking, negotiating and even writing submissions for a judge!

But the best bit about the Brain Audit is that it actually works. The principles are easy to understand - applying them takes practice, but persevere and you will see results.

I have virtually built a business on the principles in the Brain Auditand if you don't believe me take a look at

"I use the Brain Audit for Website design, articles, consultations with business owners, sales letters, negotiating with a toddler!"

"I kept hearing about "The Brain Audit, The Brain Audit..." and I already wanted to get it because of the huge benefit I got from Sean's articles. I perceived it to be highly valuable but didn't jump right in to buy it because of not having any money. I thought "this is really nice but, someday..." If it were on Amazon that would have been on my wish list.

I've been completely blown away. Having read it, read it, and then re-read it, it was like going through the Looking-Glass; no going back. It is everything it's said to be and much more...so simply powerful and powerfully simple. I had to sign up for 5000bc after reading it, and am just itching to go on to Brain Audit Applications and all the other stuff which you find on the 'other side' :)

Realigning my thinking. Powerful shift from solution to problem-based thinking. I'm someone who likes to find the solution to problems, so having the shift to where I was having to be clear on what the real problem is has been a powerful benefit. Like learning to breathe properly, once you 'get it' then you wonder at why you would ever do things any other way.

I use it for Website design, articles, consultations with business owners, sales letters, negotiating with a toddler! Any and every communication has found itself audited by the Brain Audit.

How have I benefited? Too many to list in the 5-7 minutes I've got to write this! One though: I pitched some proposals and solutions to a number of business owners I was having casual conversation with. The ideas I presented were ones they could pursue on their own if they so liked. I ended up being made a partner in one venture, and being made a marketing strategist to another! (no, I'm not making this up; it happened a few days ago and you can email me about it if you like) Keep in mind, I've only been 'doing this' i.e. learning and applying the Brain Audit less than 6 months which shows the power of the principles being used, as well as Divine Favour; especially with me being 'led' to find out about The Brain Audit.

Because it really is based on fundamental principles which resonate within you as you read them. It may be different to what you're used to, but you do see that what you're reading is true. I won't go on about it anymore lest that turn you off it because it is really well worth at least reading it and then returning it for your money back if you're hesitant. Bet you ain't do it. Bet you can't just return it and want nothing more to do with it...or can you?:)"

P.S. Thanks again for all your work. I've been scribbling down your website address to most everyone I've met on my trip to Africa; I wish you could see the lights go on in the eyes of people when they've got it. More powerful than simply being given financial aid, being given the powerful principles that you share is making a difference grassroots...and growing. Thank you.

"Brain Audit is not some 'how to' book-- it's a way of thinking. Brain Audit is "a must" for any serious business person."

"Prior to buying Brain Audit, I thought I knew a lot about marketing. My college minor was in marketing. My ADVERTISING AGE subscription allowed me to continue to pick up marketing techniques.

But what the Brain Audit provides that was missing in all of the 'mainstream' teaching and training is the piece critical to all sales: how the brain perceives and processes information.

For me, the biggest Brain Audit benefit is that once you 'get it', you'll see all your communications, sales talks and presentations departing from your previous formats.

So far, I have applied Brain Audit to a community newsletter, to a new speaker forum series, and to the design of a client's website with great success.

The newsletter has resulted in a non-responsive community becoming 'pro-active'; having enough underwriting for the "speaker forum" that we don't have to charge guests a fee for the next 2 years; and the website design change resulted in investment in the company to expand its services.

I am now getting ready to get a side business venture moving forward with Sean's guidelines.

Brain Audit is not some 'how to' book-- it's a way of thinking. Brain Audit is "a must" for any serious business person. It changes how you perceive your clients and their needs. And likewise, it changes how you perceive your own message both in terms of the choice of words and how it is presented and positioned.

It forces you to be much more clear about the intent of your business or product and provides the ground rules for communicating and positioning that message. Brain Audit will change the way you do business."

"I was initially unsure that the Brain Audit would deliver what it promised..."

"That it would give me the insight into why clients do the
things they do.

I've been involved in sales for over 15 years and I found that
the Brain Audit though a thin book, neatly summed up a lot of what I had read in volumes of sales books and presented that information in a easy to digest and understand form.

The main thing I've taken out of the Brain Audit is to continually ask myself "What problem am I solving for my clients." And to make sure I take all the red bags of off the luggage carousel before making the sale.

I've particularly applied the Brain Audit to a new business which is currently in the development stages. I also review other companies marketing materials from a Brain Audit perspective to try and learn from what they have done.

The results have been a huge learning curve which is being applied to my new business.

I'd recommend the Brian Audit, because it conveys the psychology of the sales process in an easy to understand and straight forward manner without the fluff."

"It's probably only a coincidence of course, but over the last two years or bid success ratio has been 75% and 50%.

Would I recommend the Brain Audit. Well, I wouldn’t, at least not to the local competition. I don’t want them to know."

"Brain Audit, sounds like a load of rubbish to me, or something like that was my first thought when I read the sales material. You might cal it a degree of scepticism. Auditing the brain, what has that got to do with marketing?

And as for taking 7 bags of the airport conveyor, it all sounded faintly ridiculous.

Now it is those initial thoughts that seem faintly ridiculous. There were many things I didn’t understand, or hadn’t really thought about despite my many years in business. I knew the old mantra about benefits not features but what I didn’t understand was that the really important thing to identify was the problem those benefits solved. It was identifying the problem which attracted the potential client.

And I knew clients are best found in niches, target markets and all that stuff, but not really about how important it was to really narrow your target market down, to be able to epitomize it as one person even.

Then there is the next bag, and the next and the next. All those bags I hadn’t thought about in any logical way.

So that is the other thing I hadn’t really appreciated that I got from the Brain Audit – the need for structure. If I’m putting together a proposal or offer it needs to have structure. Not just any old structure but a structure that followed logically. Just like taking bags of an airport conveyor really.

Both my wife’s business and mine frequently require us to submit proposal or tenders. We set ourselves a target of winning one in three submitted. Over the last two years we have been restructuring our communication.

It's probably only a coincidence of course, but over the last two years or bid success ratio has been 75% and 50%.

Would I recommend the Brain Audit. Well, I wouldn’t, at least not to the local competition. I don’t want them to know."

"When I first saw the Brain Audit, I thought, "Here we go again. The same old psychological selling stuff."

"I found a whole bunch of similar stuff on other sites when I did a Goggle search. BUT . . .Something intrigued me about the WAY Sean described this selling process. As I dug into his site and saw the wealth of information he provided for FREE, I bought The Brain Audit. I figured if he has this much to give away, just imagine if I actually bought something.

I wasn't disappointed. The biggest value for me was the "system" Sean has in the Brain Audit to lead the customer all the way through to the sale. Miss one "bag" and you lose the sale. And THAT is often what I was missing in other discussions about psychological selling. I got a lot of concepts but had to guess about execution. Sean is the MASTER of execution. You see it everywhere in his work. His attention to the tiniest detail, while at the same time, not missing the bigger picture. What results have I gotten specifically from the Brain Audit?

I can't really say. It is hard to separate the Brain Audit from the other work I have done with Sean.

But because of Sean's work with me, I now have a viable, sustainable business that is fast becoming very profitable. For now, I can say that to date I have brought in about $20,000 of new business I would not have had without Sean. But this year I project that figure to be well over $100,000.

It's simple. If you are in the business of selling ANYTHING --
products and especially SERVICES -- you need the Brain Audit."

"I would definitely not recommend the Brain Audit. I know it’s selfish, but believe me when I say the less that they know about it, the better for those who do."

"Before I bought the Brain Audit I thought...Hokey. Low credibility. Probably another skin on the Kennedy-Joyner-Vitale-Nitro-Mendossian-Polish multi-level ‘marketing to marketers’ information business.

I found it straight forward, fresh and friendly.

The biggest benefit of the Brain Audit is it proactively eliminating buying resistance.

I have apply the Brain Audit in presentations and copy writing.

In a world drenched with mediocrity, your Brain Audit approach makes for great kindling. The kind of kindling that sets the imagination on fire and gets things blazing.

Because of this, I would definitely not recommend the Brain Audit. I know it’s selfish, but believe me when I say the less that they know about it, the better for those who do."

"The Brain Audit made me realize that I was committing one of the biggest mistakes in my sales copy"

"When I heard about the Brain Audit, I yawned, rolled my eyes and shook my head telling myself that I didn't need to buy it since I know everything about writing compelling copy.

As a Christmas gift to my business, I purchased the Brain Audit. After reading it, I kicked myself for letting such a big secret elude me for so many years.

You see, the Brain Audit made me realize that I was committing one of the biggest mistakes in my sales copy.

I tweaked my sales copy following Sean's advice and immediately noticed a difference. In just 30-days, sales of my downloadable book went from 1 a month to 12 - and all I did was change the title.

Turn your product into a bestseller by purchasing the Brain Audit now. Unless you're not interested in achieving a bestseller status."

"My copywriting before the Brain Audit was good, but it was like a tree house."

"If you like Seth Godin but want more actionable stuff, if you like Gary Halbert but want to conduct your business more ethically, and if you want a copywriting course unlike the pdf's you've been downloading recently - then Sean's your man...

I remember sitting down with the freshly printed Brain Audit in one hand, a hot chocolate with marshmallows in the other, and preparing for a nice reading - but I got way more than that. There are two very specific extra "weapons" that the Brain Audit gave me, that I never got from the many copy writing courses that are out there (and if you're like me, you've got them all, too)

First, if you have the Dan Kennedy, Yanik Silver, Gary Halbert etc. swipe files, then you know WHAT works. The Brain Audit explains very simply WHY it works, HOW it works. This is master-level applied psychology, necessary for any self-respecting marketer.

The second extra thing that the Brain Audit gave was not just success elements and explanations, but a STRUCTURE. A checklist for the necessary ingredients, a blueprint for your copy. My copywriting before the Brain Audit was good, but it was like a tree house. After the Brain Audit your copywriting will be like a glass and steel superstructure your customers just can't take their eyes off.

I would've liked to cite specific results, but I've been using the Brain Audit for so long I can't keep score any more. I used it in my sales copy for selling manuals, trainings, seminars, memberships, or to help my customers sell maps, wine, even electricity.

I'd recommend the Brain Audit to any business owner or marketer who wants to understand the mind of his customer and be able to use this structure, this checklist to write copy more confidently."

"Here's the best part: within about a month of absorbing the Brain Audit, I'd re-written the copy on my home page and my sales shot up over 50%."

"When I purchased the Brain Audit in the fall of 2006, I was desperate. Desperate to improve the profit from my website. Desperate not to get sucked in for yet more money for garbage that didn't help me one bit. Desperate to learn something solid about marketing to apply to my web business.

I liked Sean's newsletter- not just the style but the solid information it gave with a pinch of humor and good cheer. Not hype. But I knew I needed more- more structure to my thinking that I could translate to a better website.

I remember reading the Brain Audit immediately after downloading it- it's a pretty quick read. And then, without leaving my desk, reading it twice more, slowly. And probably 2 or 3 times again over the next week. It might be relatively short and sweet, but it's packed.

Here's the best part: within about a month of absorbing the Brain Audit, I'd re-written the copy on my home page and my sales shot up over 50%.

The Brain Audit isn't just B-School theory; it's actionable information that once understood can be applied to your business. And it gets the results your looking for.

No more desperation. No more gimmick of the month. No more time wasted spinning wheels. Now I know what I'm trying to do. Thank you, Sean."

"I often use the Brain Audit as a guideline to make the team sweat out its target market and proposition. Works every time!"

"I'd come across Sean's writing and was wrestling with the initial stages of developing a website. I liked the conceptual approach behind the Brain Audit, but was not sure how it would work in practice.

I know, I know, everybody else is going to say this too, but I was really delighted to find that the Brain Audit helped me to work out how to deal with some major issues on my web project.

For me the key insight is in how to focus attention on the specific components of the customer's buying decision - the guidance is simple, non-technical and effective.

My business is to help businesses find, win and keep the right customers more effectively. Often we need to re-examine some of the marketing fundamentals: I often use the Brain Audit as a guideline to make the team sweat out its target market and proposition. Works every time!

Whether for client projects or my own, when helping friends think about their business ideas or when working every day on improving my own business, the Brain Audit sharpens my thinking.

I recommend, but only very selectively to those who I think have the right spirit to appreciate and make good use of this most valuable re-programming."

"Now I have a systematized understanding of the steps that go into the buying/selling process."

"I bought the product because I wanted to get a better sense of Sean's approach to marketing and tap into the expertise of the material. I hoped that I wasn't buying yet another book that left me confused and uncertain of how to implement it.

I was really pleasantly surprised by the Brain Audit. It was an enjoyable read, and gave me lots of moments of "I never thought about it like that before."

Now I have a systematized understanding of the steps that go into the buying/selling process. I can look at something and see what's missing. I can see where a buyer would get hung up in the process.

I used the Brain Audit strategies in my first ever print advertisement. My goal was to drive people to my website and build my email list.

In spite of technical difficulties with my web site, I added 10 well-qualified people to my list. The ad is scheduled to run again next month and I look forward to a greater return now that the technical glitches are fixed.

I highly recommend the Brain Audit. It puts together the puzzle of buying and selling in a way that is clear, concise and easy to implement. All of that has felt like a mystery for so long, it's a relief that the fog is lifting."

"I recommend the Brain Audit to anyone who wants to build a potent marketing communication material. The book is short in pages but large in useful information."

"Psychotactics looked like something complicated. Moreover, at first glance, seeing all the cartoons, I though this could be something not serious at all.

The book has a simple theory that is very well explained on how the brain works. The concepts are simple but powerful. The mind behaves in certain ways specially when is time to buy and Sean describes them in his book very clearly.

The Brain Audit is also very easy to apply.

The main benefit is the possibility of changing the focus of the communication. Maybe you have the right product of service, maybe you know your client and competition, maybe you know the main benefit of your product that will solve a client’s problem but you do not know how to organize all those ideas in your communications material and how to communicate them. Brain Audit will give you that.

I applied Brain Audit in my sales presentation.

I recommend Brain Audit to anyone who wants to build a potent marketing communication material. Brain Audit gets to the point faster than any other marketing book I’ve ever read. The book is short in pages but large in useful information."

The Brain Audit thinking itself. It has become the flex capacitor that helps me to structure results in a step by step fashion.

"Before I purchased the Brain Audit I was skeptical that it was just another marketing product, but I was wrong, it is a marketing revolution."

"Why? Because it teaches you to present your products from the customers point of view - how they will see you, rather than how you see them.

Sean recommends reading it 2 or 3 times and I can understand why - there is so much revolutionary marketing info it is too much to absorb the first time through."

"My first meeting with a client used to be nothing more than a presentation of my portfolio."

"The Psychotactics website copy was very compelling and it did a good job of making me want the book. It seemed a smart move to make to improve my business.

Also I remember I said to myself: If I don't like it I can always get my money back.

I was expecting quality, but I really got more then that.
The way the system is explained is very clear and makes you think "Hey, I can actually do this."

The main benefit of the Brain Audit is how it all works together. These are not new ideas and I have heard them here and there, but it's the way they are put together in a step by step system that gives them value, at least to me.

I have been applying the Brain Audit in solving communication problems for my clients.

The benefits: First of all I feel more confident when I talk to a client, especially the first time I meet them. My first meeting with a client used to be nothing more than a presentation of my portfolio and some generic statement about solving their problem. The Brain Audit gave me a system that I can illustrate to the client now and I can tell I sound much more professional and competent.

Also, the system makes my job easier and faster. I don't have to reinvent the wheel every time.

Yes. The Brain Audit is a system that makes communication more effective and makes me appear more professional. It also opened my mind to a new way of seeing my profession.

"I saw the Brain Audit as a good means of teaching me how to reach the customers I need to help me grow and achieve the goals I have set."

"I only just recently brought the Brain Audit (January 2007) but so far it has changed my thinking and perception of what I am doing and how to better reach people in my market. I have been reading your newsletters each week and everything in them seemed to be making sense.

It was simple yet rang true to how I even acted as a customer without even thinking about it. I have put in place some of the ideas already and have changed my business card and the way at which I present my company to others both verbally and in print.

I work on my own in the Audio/Visual market in Hamilton, but want to grow from my small beginnings in April 2006 to a much larger and well known business. I saw the Brain Audit as a good means of teaching me how to reach the customers I need to help me grow and achieve the goals I have set.

I am still finding applications to apply the Brain Audit and working my way through the information and reviewing everything I have in place as I read it and get a better understanding.

"I highly recommend the Brain Audit to anyone who is ready to truly think about their products and their customers."

"Before I bought the Brain Audit I had read a great many stuffy advertising and marketing books that encouraged thinking outside of the box but just didn't do it themselves.

Sean and the Brain Audit quite literally take the box and throw it out the window.

I will admit I never gave much thought to whether or not I had my "bags" together and just sort of traveled by the seat of my pants...now I have a formula to make sure that when I arrive at my destination (the customer) they will feel compelled to buy from me.

I highly recommend the Brain Audit to anyone who is ready to truly think about their products and their customers. This is not your father's marketing book - your stodgy old ideas WILL be challenged, but I guarantee you will never think the same way again."

“Sometimes you really think you know what you are doing. After 40 years in sales and marketing, I thought I knew the formula.

Then I read The Brain Audit and realized I have been skipping or minimizing essential steps in the brain’s decision making process. I could have helped a lot more people along the way and my current net worth would be significantly higher.

I can’t change the past, but Sean’s Brain Audit is definitely changing my future through a clear understanding of exactly what people require to make more effective buying decisions.

I am overhauling everything…from website content, to e-mail campaigns, to marketing collateral, to newsletter content, to sales promotions and product launches. The Brain Audit is a terrific guide for every marketing, advertising or sales strategy you plan to implement. Don’t blink or think twice before making the decision to invest in The Brain Audit. "It took me a long time before I bought the Brain Audit because I just thought, "yeah right!" and I am on a tight budget so I was cautious about spending the money."

"WOW! Boy was I wrong! After reading some free articles on the website, I liked what I read so I thought ok, lets give the Brain Audit a try. It really is one of those books you read and think, this seems so obvious, why didn't I think of it?

The way that the Brain Audit is written makes you deconstruct what you think you know, re-assessing established ideas about marketing using the foibles of the human mind to your advantage! It is practical, do-able and makes SO much sense!

Not only do I try apply what I have learned in my websites and web-writing, but also my everyday dealings with people, general emails etc.

I really liked the 'feel-felt-found' technique and use it a lot - it seems to really warm people to you because you are speaking as yourself, sharing your experiences with them.

I also used the 'biggest objection' for my newsletter - I asked people to sign up for freebies, and just added "if you don't like it, just unsubscribe" - so simple, but it takes the risk away! I think the whole 'open and honest' strategy means I get lots of sign ups now, and this means that every time I send a newsletter out I drive traffic back to my site, which looks great to the search engines, and I get very nice conversions too!

I would definitely recommend the Brain Audit because it turns conventional marketing on it's head and if you have the guts to try what Sean suggests then you will be pleasantly surprised. It is a breath of fresh air."

"I wanted help, thinking about my marketing in a way that was respectful of my customers yet powerfully compelling"

"I purchased the Brain Audit because I wanted help thinking about my marketing in a way that was respectful of my customers yet powerfully compelling for the right audience.

I was skeptical, but because several people I admire are fans of yours, I gave it a try.

The Brain Audit has gotten me excited again about using marketing and selling as part of my overall strategy to humanize business for the accidental entrepreneur. I'm using it to anticipate what the people who are most likely to benefit from my work need to in order to take action. I love feeling that I am on the customer's side, not manipulating them but supporting them.

Using the principles of the brain audit, I wrote a sales page (www.authenticpromotion.com/authenticwealth.html) for my Authentic Wealth program. Not only did the program fill virtually over night (and a second section filled also), the people who applied were exactly the ones I wanted to serve. As a result, most of the people in the program are thrilled with the experience.

I have already recommended the Brain Audit to coaching clients. It's great to have a resource I can feel so good about sharing."

"I thought "Oh great, just what I need, another marketing book to buy. I might as well just take the money and throw it on the water."

"I had been receiving Sean's psychotactics emails for several years, and really enjoyed them. Regarding the book the "Brain Audit" I thought "Oh great, just what I need, another marketing book to buy. I might as well just take the money and throw it on the water."

But I took the plunge and decided to buy it anyway. I started to read it, and found it a very easy fast read. No filler, just good hard core strategies, tactics, and explanations of how a marketing piece or sales letter should be structured and if even one of these crucial elements are missing how it can and will stop a potential customer from buying.

After reading the Brain Audit several times and absorbing it I started to see advertisements on TV, magazines, and even sales letters from well known copywriters in a different light, noticing where they could be improved.

So I started to implement the ideas for our websites
http://emperorsherbologist.com
http://dynamicenterprisesgroup.com
http://globaltradeinstitute.com

And in our direct mail sales pieces. I noticed a trickle of improvement in response. And as I got better at implementing the philosophies in the Brain Audit across all new sales and marketing materials, and setting up a checklist to make sure I covered every crucial "Bag" mentioned, responses began to
stream in. And soon I expect to have an ocean of prospects and sales... all due to implementing the concepts spelled out in the Brain Audit.

I would recommend this book to any person or company involved in sales and/or marketing except for my company's competitors. I hope they never find this book.

"What does your customer think? What would make them buy?"

“What does your customer think? What would make them buy?”

No one, in my knowledge, has written about how to effectively use persuasion tactics in your communication messages. In The Brain Audit , Sean teaches the seven steps of how to form killer communication pieces that makes people buy from you. It is a simple psychological system that everyone can use in their communications to increase their profits.”

I first bought The Brain Audit in 2002. It was 32 pages long. And I thought it was the best damn book on copywriting I had read! It laid down the entire sequence of elements that any successful salesletter or presentation needs to cover to make the prospect say “yes!”

I really thought that The Brain Audit could not be improved upon.

But year after year, Sean has been proving me wrong. He has improved upon it. And improved upon it. And improved upon it.

Sean’s added more details to The Brain Audit. More stories and analogies. Better graphics (and fun cartoons!) He has used every teaching trick possible to make sure that you understand the sequence of elements needed to make people buy —and this sequence soaks into your thinking pattern.

Today, The Brain Audit 3.2 is 180 pages long! And its the best book on persuasion you will ever read!*

* Until Sean comes out with version 4.0 a year or two down the line. But you really can’t afford to wait a year or two to take advantage of The Brain Audit, can you?

So I asked myself, "Do I really need an updated copy of The Brain Audit?" I read it five years ago and have been a 5000 B.C. member since then. Is there really going to be anything new in it?

I believe in fundamentals, whether I'm treating a patient with acupuncture, coaching championship lacrosse, or fixing up my house. Business is no different. Fundamentals rule and The Brain Audit is the best marketing resource available for the solo-preneur.

"I can say this marketing system is far better than any other method I tried in a 10-years-work time. It works!"

"I had a look at Sean's website after a friend told me. I had no faith in it, I was simply thinking: "Here we go again, this will be the n-th marketing method where someone will ask me $$ and then more $$$". In fact, in the previous years I tried many marketing techniques, with a great loss of money and nearly no result.

I am selling special services and I needed targeted clients without spending a lot of money. I was just wondering: How can I do that?? After reading some pages, I bought The Brain Audit. Then I thought-if Sean succeeded in making me buy this e-book, why shouldn't I do the same?

I read it in a nighttime. The next day I applied some minor changes to my monthly newsletter and... guess what? I doubled the people calling me after reading the news!

And from this point, it is always going up! This method works! I can testify it! But the main thing for me, is it makes you independent from marketing consultants, upgrades, expensive marketing campaigns and so on!

I can say this marketing system is far better than any other method I tried in a 10-years-work time."

"In these challenging economic times The Brain Audit 3.2 should be priced much higher."

"I purchased the first Brain Audit about one year ago. The premise of the 7 The Brain Auditgs and removing them are mandatory to get the ideas across efficiently. The idea about identifying the One Problem (along with the One Target Person) in my Copywriting is divine inspiration. For me, the One Problem is like the philosopher's stone. I could use it to change The Brain Auditse metals into gold, but with time I used it to transform my writing and myself.

I decided to purchase The Brain Audit 3.2 as I needed more heft to understanding. I also have a new full time job and I am paid straight commission. This is a huge incentive to get it all together and the small investment in The Brain Audit 3.2 was a no-brainer. I would have borrowed money to buy it.

I have never been disappointed with anything Psychotactics has presented. Yet it does take time for it to sink in and then apply it. It is like reading a really profound and deep poem that in order to grasp the depth it needs to be re-read over ands over and with copious notes and then applied. Truthfully, it is not for the faint of heart.

"The Brain Audit 3.2 audio files and the checklist add a new level of learning."

"The Brain Audit audio version really help capture the nuances of the book. This makes it easier to understand the concepts. Plus when you read the book you can hear the voice in your head, which adds a lot more personality to it.

The specific feature I like most about the The Brain Audit 3.2 is the inclusion of the Target Profile chapter. This takes target audience to a whole new level. Making it a heck of a lot simpler than guessing what customers will respond to. Or what they really want.

Other benefits of the The Brain Audit 3.2 are:
-The audio definitely adds a new level of learning. It's great for when I go off on walks.
-The checklists are a nice inclusion that can easily be printed out when you're ready to start working through the process.

I recommend The Brain Audit all the time. In fact, often times I just want everyone to read the thing. It makes everything simpler and changes the way you think about communication. I also like to add that The Brain Audit is thoroughly enjoyable. And you learn more after each read. It's one of those books you'll want to reference again and again.

"I listened to The Brain Audit 3.2 in my car for a few days on the way to sales calls and it's really excellent. I love the way you break up each point with little snatches of audio, like a little row of sonic asterisks. popcorn.

I believe it has led directly to thousands in sales in the last week alone. Business owners get this stuff immediately.

So, thanks, and don't sell this to anyone else!"

"You can keep going back to this book-The Brain Audit 3.2, whenever you need to improve your business. It's a resource that keeps revealing more levels the more you work with it."

"I wouldn't have bought The Brain Audit 3.2 if I thought it was just going to be a superficial make-over of the last edition. But, I've worked closely with Sean over the past years and I've seen that he has continued to develop his own understanding of the The Brain Audit 3.2 principles.

During the 2009 program in Campbell the whole concept of the Target Profile came to life before our eyes. No one Sean included knew how powerful the new understanding would be. But, it was mind blowing!! Then, Sean took that emerging idea and developed and structured it. That's why I wanted to get the new edition.

I knew it would include not just re-hashed material but new insights and more in-depth presentations of the previous material.

I love the way the illustrations reinforce and amplify the concepts. And the audio book makes it easy for me to immerse myself in The Brain Audit 3.2 while driving or walking the dog.

There's a lot in this slim volume. The principles are potent and in many ways, timeless. You can keep going back to The Brain Audit book whenever you need to improve your business. It's a resource that keeps revealing more levels the more you work with it."

"The audio alone, is worth the price of the book. I'm actually not much of an audio person but I've enjoyed listening to it several times."

"I had ordered The Brain Audit last year so I wasn't sure if it would make sense to order the new version this year but I decided to go ahead and do it anyway. I am so glad I did! The audio alone, is worth the price of the book. I'm actually not much of an audio person but I've enjoyed listening to it several times. It feels like being in a live course with you. My kids like the music, too :)

I particularly liked the section on the Target Profile. Somehow I didn't understand the importance of this piece the first time I read The Brain Audit last year. But luckily this time, it hit home and I've gone on to focus my business much better on my target profile. My customers are thrilled.

Thanks again for all the work that you do."

YES ....I've received my autographed copy of The Brain Audit all the way here in North Carolina USA!

I LOVE IT ....I've purchased so many marketing books, print & E-books, and either most of it is repeat information or I'm so bored wading though the chapters that it's a chore to finish. Not so with the Brain Audit ...it's not only filled with new and practical information but it's presented in a way that's fun-to-read and conversational (almost like you're sitting the same room with me.) Thanks again for my signed-copy of The Brain Audit....now I've got lots of work to do on my web site and other promotional materials.
