Where to stay: It would be a good idea to stay as close to the workshop venue. This is because we spend a lot of time after the workshop eating and enjoying ourselves. So look for a hotel or an Airbnb close by.
Get to know everyone before: We will start a WhatsApp group for you. I will email you the details later.
Will there be breaks during the day?
Yes. You will have two breaks and a lunch break during the day. (Usually 10:30am, 12:20pm and 2:30pm)
At the workshop, you will be provided with coffee or tea. Meals just put up the price of the event, and most people hate what's being served anyway. There are stores and restaurants nearby and meals are easy to get, and far more economical than if we added them to the workshop price.
The lunch break will be for 60-90 minutes (mostly 60 minutes)
What is the dress code for the workshop?
Wear comfortable clothing. The dress code is casual. But remember to bring a sweater with you as conference room tends to get hot and cold. We will remind you about the sweater many, many times over. A sweater or some jacket is absolutely needed, no matter if there's a heat wave in town. 🙂
Will I need my laptop?
You can bring your smartphone, tablet or laptop. In case you can't get to any of the devices, then don't worry. And while some of you may have all three of the above (phone, tablet and laptop), all you really need is one of them to get moving. If you have any questions, please e-mail me.
What happens in the evenings after the workshop?
Normally we all get together and go out for dinner, walks, etc. We have a lot of fun and get to know each other a bit more. If your partner is travelling with you, he or she can join us in the evenings, we are a very friendly lot. 🙂
