Business Strategy 3-Day Workshop: Paris
Strategic Thinking And How To Formulate A Non-Stressful Business Strategy
(Only 1 seat left)
Do you often feel like your strategy is "all over the place?" Wouldn't it be nice to have some clarity on how to move forward?
Have you ever thought about what makes a GPS so cool?
If we were asked why we like a GPS, it's easy to come up with an obvious answer. A GPS tells us exactly how to get from A to B. It also let us knows how much time it will take to make that journey. Despite that amazing capability, the real power of the GPS is not in what it reveals, but rather in what it hides. Once you get on the road, the GPS suddenly does something spectacular.
It gets rid of all the clutter and noise and lets you move ahead turn-by-turn.
Most of us crave for a similar sort of navigation in our business
We're all willing to work hard, but aren't always sure where to put our energy, time and resources. The noise—and choices—around us feel overwhelming. Instead of making a confident left, right or go straight ahead, we often end up making random moves. We lose time and money, but worse still it feels like we're always making some sort of U-Turn. We turn to books, to podcasts, to all sorts of help-based resources, but that stream of advice becomes a problem in itself.
Instead of an uncomplicated turn-by-turn, it feels like a map of the entire city! It's way too much!
What we really long for, is a strategy that shows us how to get from A to B, but at the same time shuts out most of the thousands of things that are constantly battling for our attention.
Announcing The Business Strategy Workshop in Paris, France
A thousand things will continue to vie for our attention.
Even as we set out to create a strategy, there's enormous change swirling all around us. In almost every case, it's clearly impossible to guess the future, because so many things are on the move. Our situation constantly changes, new competitors show up, and we have to work with limited resources.
The way we work around this tangle, is to go back to what has worked consistently.
When we look at principles that have worked through time, we know they will continue to work as we move ahead. It allows us to predict a future in a world that seems unpredictable. We know this concept of consistent principles to be true, because even when things aren't working for many, there are those who have had rock-steady businesses during times of inflation, recession and pure desperation. Creating a framework that lets you go ahead, slowly yet steadily.
The GPS needs to have all the information we need, but it only needs to reveal enough to get us moving from one stage to another.
That's why focuses on what you will have to do, but also help you drop the things that are unnecessary or just sending you on yet another diversion. Let's find out what we'll cover in this three-day session in Paris.
What we will cover in three days
- A focused revenue-based strategy for your business
- How to create more downtime
- Tactics needed to feed into the strategy
A focused revenue-based strategy for your business
The workshop will not have 20-30 clients. Instead, just 6 clients will be admitted so that we have lots of time to spend on a revenue-based strategy. In these sessions, you will give the group (and me) an idea of what you're doing, and where you would like to be. Based on your current resources and abilities, we will spend the first two days, working on the plans of all six clients. You will get a good understanding of what you need to do, but also be able to use some of the strategies that are recommended for others in the group. After two days of strategising, we will then have a final day to relook all the plans in detail, so that you can leave the workshop with a clear, focused strategy.
How to create more downtime
Most of us didn't start out in business to make more money. We started out because we have a passion, and because we wanted a much better quality of life. Time we could spend with our families, friends or just to do absolutely nothing. Having “time to waste” is a great luxury that even the very rich can't afford. Instead of simply “doubling your income”, we will work on a dual plan. The first part of the plan would be about how to earn enough, so you don't have to say yes to every client and every job. Simultaneously, we will work on how to create more “time to waste”.
Tactics that feed into the strategy
Strategy is the longer-term vision of where you intend to be. However, we also need to figure out the tactics that will make the strategy come to life. While strategy is broad and comprehensive, tactics are narrow and focused. Strategy will give you the “why” of what you're doing, while the tactical plan will give you the nitty-gritty of what needs to be completed—and by when.
Why do this workshop with Sean?
The main reason why you would do this workshop with me, is because I think deeply about “life”.
Life is what is important and needs to be lived well. Work brings us satisfaction and reward, but it can't dominate our lives. My core goal is to have a life that's got a clear delineation, where you love your work, but also have lots of “time to waste”.
Hence, it's always about simplification, subtraction, and then more simplification.
We will go about the strategy in piece-by-piece thinking, and have clear parameters.
(That almost sounds like too much jargon, doesn't it?) Let's suffice to say that you will not only get a solid plan to go forward, but also meet others who have a similar outlook on their lives. Plus, we've spent the last 24 years online (and offline too), doing all sorts of things (except being on TikTok). This means you'll have a depth of experience that is hard to find elsewhere.
The other cool reason to do this workshop is that a Psychotactics workshop is never boring.
There's a lot of precise, well-thought out stages to the workshop, but also endless amounts of free time. There will be long coffee-sessions, lunch and dinner. We might even go to the museum or a walk on the Seine. If you've been to a Psychotactics workshop, you know how the days fly by with fun activities. If you haven't, we'd like to have you there.
Ok, so this was really weird writing out the last few paragraphs. However, I think you'll have wanted to read it, which is why it's there.

“Sean and Renuka seem to attract great people, and we all laughed and learned together.”
I’ve been to lots of workshops, both good and not-so-good. The Psychotactics workshop was one of the finest I’ve been to. I’ve enjoyed learning through Psychotactics online courses and knew I wanted to go to a live event.
This Psychotactics workshop exceeded even my sky-high expectations. Why?
1. Fun! We all enjoyed each other, and even though many of us had not met or corresponded before. Sean and Renuka seem to attract great people, and we all laughed and learned together.
2. Space. Not just physical space, but learning space. We had lots of breaks sprinkled through the day. We could get up and get snacks, chat a bit, and let what we learned “marinate.”
3. Structure. Sean’s organization of the material and how he presents it make each little bit “snackable.” Sean can break down the complicated into comprehensible tiny tasks. We were able to create a landing page, tiny step by tiny step.
4. Safety. No question was “stupid.” We could make mistakes and ask questions, without the fear of embarrassment.
I am so glad I got to meet Sean and Renuka. It seemed like I already knew you. Looking forward to more laughs.
Why you have to renegotiation your strategy
My nieces, Keira and Marsha would come over to play at our place
One day while they were busy playing, I was lying on the sofa, when Keira suddenly stopped and stared at me. “Seanny is always tired”, she said, before running off again. It should have been the moment when I paid attention, but clearly I didn't. Later that year, when I went to the doctor for a check up he told me just what you'd expect. “Your blood pressure is up, so are your cholesterol levels and your blood sugar”.
It made no sense to me, because we've never been overly ambitious
From the very start, we clearly set our goals. We would always take the weekends off, plus three months off every year. Our income was always going to follow our own little “3x formula”. That formula was that we'd look at our expenses and earn thrice as much. One third would be the expenses themselves, one third would go into taxes and the last chunk would be for savings and investments.
Based on this rather “modest” goal and with all the breaks, I was not supposed to get a bad review from my doctor—and Keira.
Yet, there are times when work takes over life in a slightly crazy way and things fall apart.
It's not all at once, but slowly until suddenly it's a cascade of trouble. However, every problem is merely a signal that you have to renegotiate your strategy. What we did next, not only gave me more time to spend with my nieces, but it also made sure I didn't end up with worsening health.
Best of all, it didn't involve more work, but rather a renegotiation of strategy.

“In almost any other workshop you think you are getting a ton of information. Most of it is information overload. And then you never do anything about it.”
I have done many workshops. Psychotactics stands out head and shoulders about the others. For one simple reason Sean is a master of communicating learning. Very few people understand that the brain has can absorb only a certain about of information before it has to digest and rest.
And Sean understands that perfectly.
With spaced repetition; with bite-size chunks; and with time to get it into your subconscious, you can put into practice what you learn. You are able to digest and remember everything. In almost any other workshop you think you are getting a ton of information. Most of it is information-overload. And then you never do anything about it.
That is the really big difference between a Psychotactics Workshop and any other. And that is why I keep going back.

“What I find very important in a workshop is that the trainer comes up with a system that you can use over and over again.”
Very often you don’t find that in workshops, that is why I don’t attend training very often. What I like about a Psychotactics workshop, is that you get a system.
Apart from that you meet a bunch of nice friendly people and it is lovely to chat with each other. And have dinner together and just have fun.
The participants come from all over the world and they flock to this one place. They are introverts and a bit shy but by the end of the day you will find everyone is chatting happily, and totally in their comfort zone.
And that is really, really nice.
What I find unique about Psychotactics is that what every question you have or whatever trouble you have you can always Sean, Renuka or the other members and you get a reply instantly. That makes it a very special community.
How Will The Strategy Workshop Be Conducted?
The workshop is dedicated to a single task—To get rid of all the clutter and noise and for you to be able to move ahead turn-by-turn.
The steps: Before the workshop
- Once you sign up, you will be sent a questionnaire covering the different parts of your business. You must fill in the details and send the questionnaire back.
- Sean will review your questionnaire and will get back to you once you are selected. We will refund your money if he feels he can't help you.
The steps: At the workshop
- As you know, we are only accepting 6 people. This is so that you get individual attention. At the workshop, Sean will work with you on your strategy step-by-step.
- Over the three days, you will work on refining your strategy and will be able to go home with a clear plan of action.
Here are some of the main features of the workshop:
-
Specially hand-picked workshop participants
You've heard the term, “you are the company you keep”. One of the comments that surface at every Psychotactics workshop is the quality of the group. The group consists of kind, helpful and very knowledgeable people. People who ask lots of questions and work hard. The reason why the workshop attracts a special kind of group, is because we put a filtration system in place. This ensures that the company at the workshop is a fun-loving, yet industrious group that you can count on, during and sometimes for years after you leave the workshop.
-
Chunky amounts of “breathing space”
The brain works best when it's had time to work out things. This is why all Psychotactics courses are designed to avoid blah-blah. We use the 1:1:1 system, where I present concepts for ⅓ of the time. You then work on the concepts for a third and finally we discuss the concepts for ⅓ of the time. The workshop is designed with space in mind, so that real absorption and practice happens, rather than just endless information.
-
Tiny groups
One of the most refreshing part of the workshop is the size of the group. For this specific workshop, we will accept no more than 6 people. You're always interacting with a few people, and not dozens of people in the room. The workshop is designed to not give you mountains of information. Which is why we have only boutique seminars with tiny groups.

“Attending a Psychotactics workshop is a remarkable experience. You get so much more than just helpful information.”
This is the first time I have ever set aside time to attend a workshop unrelated to medicine. However, I was so eager to attend to get to meet Sean and Renuka and discover whether the accolades are all true. (They unequivocally are!)
Sean and Renuka have a special way of connecting with people. Attending a Psychotactics workshop is a remarkable experience. You get so much more than just helpful information.
You learn a skill through ‘layered learning’ by learning a sequence of ‘tiny steps’ and then applying them to your own personal business.
This ‘crescendo effect’ continues to re-enforce what you have learned much like a snowball rolling down hill. You are not just ‘hearing things’ but instead also actually ‘doing things’ by working alone and together to apply the concepts Sean teaches you. His teachings quickly become second nature to you.
You also make new friends.
And enjoy spending time with them on walks, at the workshop, as well as during lunches and dinners. It’s an immersive experience. This allows everyone to continually ask questions of Sean (and each other) to further their understanding and simply have fun. How often do you leave a meeting and feel sad it’s over?
I believe Sean is a genius.
He has an uncanny ability to deconstruct the complexities of writing (and communicating) and see the elements within. He then teaches you how to reconstruct them in a way that is both simple and effective. Simple, not complex. Effective because he understands how people think. He is an remarkable teacher who is passionate about your learning. He makes sure you don’t just understand the concepts but more importantly you learn how to apply them (the skill).
