    The mind-body connection…thought, feeling, emotion, motion is the consideration. You first have a thought which can be considered the first action. Then if the result of the thought… the feeling-emotion process allows it, the second action, or the actual doing builds the skill. So really it is the feeling-emotion element(mind-set) that slows one down. Just my 2 Cents
